Released in 1993, this Laser Disc is a nice (if brief and highly condensed) version of the start of the Battle Angle epic. The disc is in Japanese with English subtitles. I bought this new at Comic-Con in the mid 1990s.
Released in 1993 by A.D.V. Films, the video tape is pretty much what you’ve got on the laser disc: Japanese with English subtitles and featuring two episodes (Rusty Angel and Tears Sign). Unfortunately, like all the Battle Angel anime, it’s out of print. I bought it used at Amazon.com for $21.09 in 2005.
Released in 1999 by A.D.V. Films, the DVD is also now out of print. Both English and Spanish are available as subtitles and the audio tracks include Japanese and English. Essentially, there are two 30 minute episodes, each with an introduction and end credits: Rusty Angel and Tears Sign. I bought it used through eBay for $60 in 2005.
