BATTLE ANGEL ALITA - LAST ORDER

There are currently five volumes in the new Battle Angel Alita "Last Order" series of graphic novels. Unlike the original 9 graphic novels, there don't seem to have been any comics released (in the U.S.) before these came out, almost as though they were created from scratch as graphic novels. If anybody has any definitive information about that, please contact the webmaster at the link at the bottom of the page.

These new graphic novels differ in format from the originals in two different ways: (1) they read right to left, much like Japanese manga (or any Japanese writing actually) and (2) they are a slightly smaller format (7.5 x 5.3 inches compared to the 8.1x5.5 inches of the originals).
